We have had many visitors, family and friends, to Illora, initially to our Cottage that we first bought in 2004, and then to our newer house.
One of the traditions that seems to have begun, is that visitors are expected to climb to the cross on the top of the rocky hill behind our casa (obviously if they are willing and able - not everyone is willing, I might add!) and to have the obligatory photograph taken for posterity!
Steve and myself, of course, had to go to the top to make sure the climb was possible...the view is amazing! well worth the effort.
I think our first visitor to climb to the top was Helen, but as she went to the summit "solo", we took her picture as she was climbing!
